Apiko Media is an independent production company with over fifteen years of experience in international media. Founded by Theodora Mavropoulos and Raphael Kominis — a journalist and producer and a video journalist. Apiko Media produces and delivers in German, English, French and Greek.

Apiko is a Greek nautical term for the moment when the anchor has been brought into position. The anchor is ready. The ship is arriving. Figuratively it means: already there. Present. On the ground. Apiko Media tells the stories wherever they are.
